Abstract

According to a Von Hayek’s thesis, the function of educational credentials is fully focused on entrepreneurial perspective, beyond the traditional distinction between the educational credential obtained at school or university (diffused public entitlements) and the certification of subsequent lifelong learning experiences. This point of view reduces the definition of an educational credential to a certificate of competence in the technical and scientific treatment of situations that may arise at different stages of entrepreneurial planning and production. On the other hand, this conceptual reduction is a kind of test of socio-cultural substance and consistence of the current neo-liberalist theories, which link the value of techno-scientific learning to derived entrepreneurial applications.
